Sunday night dinner moved to lunch at the Novatel at Olympic Park to celebrate Christine's birthday. Strangely there were more photos of Sam than Chris.

It is now hard to imagine that Samuel ever didn't walk with his current ability to get into everything. Interactions with others are slowing increasing, with a large interest in trying to feed others.

January 2005

Samuel and Riley Hayward took their first trip to the Sydney Acquarium. It worked out really well with lots of taken the perfect height for little people.

We took a trip down to Canberra to meet Oscar Morgan, and also to celebrate Sabina's second birthday. Cake and all the trimings was had by all. With Mirellas mum there Sam nearly ate himself stupid.

The Pool is a big hit, Brian's first birthday, and Sully is still a great friend. Not sure about the Dolls at the end of the gallery.

The outfit is my old scout camp shirt. All types of food is fair game, including the Pavlova beaters. The pen is actually a future Thomas the Tank Engine table, currently sans top.

Oscar Gilbert Morgan was Christened today with Jo and Glenn as Godparents. Followed by a lunch at Lanyon Homestead.

The highlight of the month was us becomming Zoo Friends. Since then we have been to Taronga Zoo twice, and hope to find time later in the year to get out to the Western Plains Zoo. Sam has also taken to carrying things around, be they the new Topfield Video Recorder box or large bottles of fruit juice.

A quite month of June, with Sam and others suffering a bit of the flu. Luckily no photos of that.

How embarrassing... do we really want to know what Aunty Chris and Sam are looking at in Cosmopolitan magazine ? Also this this month: Sam's first taste of home delivery Pizza, getting into the Electricals (Aerial power only), on the trike, the big bike seat and lots more.

It only makes sense that someone that eats so well would also like to cook. This month we take a cooking class with Sam, and also work on privacy issues and the need to mix up shredded personal documents. PS. Finally managed to get the swimming goggles on as well.

The upstairs bathrooms were in need of repairs with a growing risk of serious leakage over our heads. Based on our success with Fred Rose at Eastwood, we got them in again and this was the result.

It is not often we manage to surprise mum, but I do believe this time we had some success. Under the impression she was heading out for a small family dinner, we arranged for a few additional guests to help us celebrate including her sister from Victoria, and brother from Newcastle. This month Dad got to hire a really big Tonka Toy for some work in the front yard and Sam got stuck into Wine for the first time with the expected result (just kidding).

Christmas in the Sydney in Summer. No surprise we all ended up in the pool. Paul, Mirella, Sabina and Oscar made it up from Canberra this year which added to the fun.

Christmas Day 2005

Trip to Luna Park for the IBM Kids Christmas party which included riding the slippery slide in Coney Island.
